REGINA GOLD comes in two versions: with SINGLE and DOUBLE HANDLE.

REGINA GOLD WITH SINGLE HANDLE: it’s a traditional version with a traditional opening. The sash with the lock closes against the second sash.
REGINA GOLD WITH DOUBLE HANDLE: it’s an innovative version. Each sash is independent and easy to open; you can also open only the sash you want.

REGINA GOLD has a 4-sided telescopic frame made from zinced steel tubular profiles 30 x 20 mm, 20/10 thick. The sashes are made from sturdy zinced steel tubular profiles 60 x 30 mm, 20/10 thick. REGINA SILVER has an original 2-sided telescopic frame made from tubular profiles of zinced steel.

What marks REGINA out is the special AEK Patented Articulated Joint, allowing an easy and smooth opening of the grille: the grille can be completely opened in- and outwards, so that the shutters can be opened and closed very easily.

The pivot pins, made from solid steel, are inserted in the TUBE LASER cut tubular profiles. Special tops of nylon charged with glass fibre at the end of the profiles make the articulated joints steady and prevent rainwater infiltrations, which can cause unesthetic oxidations and irreversible corrosions.

4-deadbolt lock: the deadbolts engage in the frame with a 30-mm stroke to lock the sash, two in the head and two in the sill.

REGINA: sober and elegant Italian design that suits every environment

An 18-mm steel pivot pin makes the sash rotate: you make the pin jut out of the sash by tightening a screw (AEK patent). The pin engages in the frame, which is suitably equipped with a Teflon-coated bushing requiring no lubrication.

The stiffening plates are interrupted, so that the sash can be folded at 0°, 90° or 180°.

The wall attachment brackets are inserted in the 30 x 40 mm tubular profile and can be regulated +/-15 mm in width.

The grille is strong and elegant thanks to its continuous form and to the technical peculiarity of its articulated joint (AEK patent), cut out within the 30 x 40 mm tubular profile. The joint can be folded at 0°, 90° or 180°; its rounded shape prevents fingers and clothes to get caught in it.

The sash rotates by resting on the sill through inox steel washers.

REGINA: Burglar RC 3 for the protection of your home

The lock is inserted and protected within the 60 x 30 mm tubular profile. The handle makes the locking easier. The lock has a class K2 8-pin cylinder. The cylinders, all standardized, are provided with a construction key.
